Perfect for that “been there, Done that” WWII rifle. Modern slings just don’t get the look. 1 keeper and 2 brass claw hooks. Correct ricasso pattern and stitching in great shape. This sling is shorter from classic K98 sling for about 6. Can be safely mounted on your K98 , G’s Mp’s – no risk of braking! WEDISH M1896 LEATHER RIFLE SLING 48+ INCHES. Nice looking leather that is pliable, firm, soft and smooth. With some surface wrinkles. The color is mostly a medium brown with some darker areas. The metal clasp is great with some surface paint wear. Length from tip to tip is over 48 inches. Not including the clasp. No cracks but there are some wrinkles. Strong hardware and stitching.
