It’s seen a good amount of use, but is more than pliable and shows no signs of cracking or general weakness. Regardless, I’m not a leather expert. Refer to the photos for its appearance and condition. These were made with either blued steel or brass hardware. This is a nice brass example and thus has no rust, which is a definitely benefit. The Finnish [SA] marking is nice and deep and well proportioned. Made in Italy for the M38 and M91/38 series of short rifles.
