Tanaka KAR98 Airsoft Rifle. This is a superb’pre-ban’ Tanaka WWII KAR 98 battle rife, as deployed by German troops throughout the Second World War. Tanaka pieces were renowned for their fidelity and high-end manufacturing qualities and this piece exemplifies those attributes perfectly. Rifle is a true fidelity pieces and has a beautiful receiver action with working lever safety. Quality complete wood stock and all other parts quality metal (no’pot-metal here folks). It is in superb operating condition and has been equipped with an aftermarket sear spring allowing for harder strikes on the gas magazine’knocker-valve’ (resulting in significantly increased fps). Can use Propane gas to charge detachable magazine. Uses 6mm airsoft projectiles. A Simply Beautiful Piece and comes with a Shoei battle sling. This is a vintage Tanaka and no longer manufactured (for a long, long time) Bolt works like’greased lightning’ and able to easily cycle for very rapid follow-up shots. Exterior in very good condition too, with minor scuffing and slight scratching her and there (see photos). Comes from my vast collection of vintage, rare, hard to find and/or custom airsoft arsenal, started in 1985. I MAY have an extra magazine each holds about 10/12’staggered’ projectiles, easily loaded. If can locate will include as a bonus. I’ve seen these rifles, in lesser condition go for far more than what I will be asking initially. First come first served obviously.
