I could not find any markings on this. 1 1/4 wide and worn, but still strong. This has STEEL hooks, and not the more commonly seen brass. I think this is for the M1 Garand or Springfield rifle. A wonderful example of a George Lawrence Company M1907 M1903 brown leather rifle sling. This 1″ wide and adjustable to 44″ sling is numbered 57 on the the leather and probably dates 1950’s or 1960’s.
