Hand built leather sling with Japanned black steel roller keeper, steel sling button and Japanned black stacking swivel hanging hook. Winchester used this proprietary sling pattern with their full length (musket) rifles. As depicted in the picture of a Lithuanian Imperial Russian Army soldier with Winchester 1895 Contract Rifle, as well as a page from the Navy Technical Manual for the Lee Navy Rifle Model 1895. I have several other examples of this pattern. This sling pattern is extremely difficult to find an intact original of. Nothing else shown is included in sale.
