Original WWII Era US Army/USMC M1907 Leather Sling for the M1903 Springfield, M1918 BAR, M1917 Enfiled or M1 Garand Rifle – Unmarked – Very Nice Condition. This sling has the correct WWII Blackened Steel Hooks. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has both leather keepers. The leather is soft and supple. There are several areas of wrinkling on the surface of the leather. Some surface cracking between the adjustment holes, as is common on these older slings. Please see photo’s. The leather has darken with age, but still retains most of that rich russet brown color. The stitching is all tight and intact. This is an Original Functional WWII era Sling and would look great on a WWII era rifle. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommened for actual use.
