Hard To Find Original Austrian Police Leather M1 Carbine Sling

Offered is an original Austrian police issue leather sling manufactured for use with the M1 Carbine rifle. This sling is maker marked Stolla Wien in an oval next to the stud. It is also marked 1ABT. 5C62 for the 1st Abteilung Section, 5C, 62 (Gendarmerie procurement office 1962). This sling is complete and full length. It is offered as pictured and shows only normal wear and has no rips, tears, repairs, or modifications. These slings used to be rather plentiful but have dried up in recent years and are not extremely hard to find. This one is a nice, supple example.
