And comes with 12 bullet loop’s on the sling and 6 bullet loop’s on the stock wrap sling comes equipped with a precisely placed leather laced thumbhole for maximum comfort while shouldered and also a very well padded shoulder piece. Original WWII Era US Army/USMC M1907 Leather Sling for the M1903 Springfield, M1918 BAR, M1917 Enfiled or M1 Garand Rifle – Unmarked – Very Nice Condition. This sling has the correct WWII Blackened Steel Hooks. The sling is used, see photo’s for condition. The sling has both leather keepers. The leather is soft and supple. There are several areas of wrinkling on the surface of the leather. Please see photo’s. The leather has darken with age, but still retains most of that rich russet brown color. The stitching is all tight and intact. This is an Original Functional WWII era Sling and would look great on a WWII era rifle. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommened for actual use. This is the sling that was commonly used on the M1917 Enfield, the M1 Garand, the M1903 Springfield, the M1903A3 Springfield and the M1941 Johnson Rifles. Check out my other items.
