This sling was originally made from 3 sections that are sewed together and the stitching is very strong. It has one brass hook that has a nice shape to it and is securely fastened. The vast majority of the surface is very nice with some surface wear on the end that has the keeper. Both keepers are very nice but the stitching has come loose where the ends meet. Handcrafted rifle sling, made by Seelye Leather Works. Hand tooled, made from veg-tanned cow (embossed Alligator) and backed with American Bison. The sling is padded, adjustable, and has brass chicago screw fasteners. The sling starting length is 30 1/2″ long and adjust out to 33″ long. All of SLW items are handcrafted, each item is unique. SLW uses only the finest natural leather, and the natural surface of leather has its own characteristics. The proof of its uniqueness is the markings that occur during the life of the animal. Leather used to create the products of SLW will include scratches, scars, brands, insect bites, indentations and scuffs.
