Nice and smooth surface. Very few tiny hairline cracks. One small surface crack on the second set of holes on the non frog end. All stitching is very strong. Steel hardware in great condition and securely attached. Very little surface wear. You will be very pleased! ORIGINAL LEATHER US 1st MODEL FROG 1887 KRAG TRAPDOOR & SPRINGFIELD RIFLE SLING

Very nice looking sling overall. This is an original leather sling from a Krag or Trapdoor. This sling type can and was used on other rifles up to 1907 and beyond. It has very good brass hardware and very good leather. The frog is of the 1st design with the thinner legs. The keeper stitching is very strong as is the section that holds the two sling leather pieces together. The leather is strong and will easily hold the weight of a rifle, including the keepers. The leather has medium and darker medium brown colors. The leather is soft and pliable with some minor wear spots. Some hairline cracks but not that many. Some cracking just after the joint section. Surface wrinkles, spider wrinkles and smooth leather for the most part. A curved of wear can be seen near the button. It measures approximately 69 3/4 inches. The backside of the leather looks very good. The tip is stamped with what looks like “G W”. I will be posting more of these slings. LEATHER US 1st MODEL FROG 1887 KRAG TRAPDOOR & SPRINGFIELD RIFLE SLING 69 STAMP

Very nice looking sling overall. This is an original leather sling from a Krag or Trapdoor. This sling type can and was used on other rifles up to 1907 and beyond. It has very good brass hardware and very good leather. The keeper stitching is very strong. The brass button and frog edge next to the leather have some black, dried substance. The frog is securely attached and has the 1st model legs which are thinner than the later frogs. The leather has some medium and mostly darker brown colors. The leather has a combination of smooth and surface wrinkles with almost no hairline cracks and no other visible cracking. The leather is soft and pliable. It is stamped 69. It measures approximately 69 1/4 inches. The backside of the leather looks very good. I will add it if I can capture it. I will be posting more of these slings. Black Latigo Leather Rifle Slings

Black Latigo Leather Rifle Slings. This black leather is made with domestic black latigo leather. With adjustable hand grip with chicago screws. Sling comes with quick disconnect swivels (the good ones). Adjustments for length are made with a conway buckle. This sling is well built and will last a very long time. The main body of these rifle slings measure 21 1/2″ long, top width is 3″ and the bottom width is 2. The location of the adjustable loop can be moved up or down by the 7 holes in the main rifle sling body. The loop is 8 top of braiding to bottom of loop. Total loop is 11 and made from Latigo leather. Top strap is Latigo leather and is 1 1/4 wide and has the quick disconnect swivel installed. And the bottom strap also made from Latigo leather at 1 wide and also has the quick disconnect swivel installed. Adjustments are made by a conway buckle. The main body is Latigo leather, the same leather used on horse tack. And is not lined. I designed this rifle sling to what I would interpret as the ideal rifle sling. I believe, you’ll be very happy with these rifle slings. Packages will be mailed on Saturdays when I get home from the road. This is a serious hobby for me. Mandela inspired leather rifle sling with skulls

The main body of this Rifle sling measure 21.5″ long, top width is 3″ and the bottom width is 2. The main body is made from Hermann Oak leather and lined with a grey suede. The lacing is calf skin lacing. The Mandela inspired design was tooled with a few stamps, mostly skulls. Dyed with red and green, followed by a dark brown block burnished technic on the none Mandela parts. And the stamped parts are hi-lited with a black antiquing paste. I designed this rifle sling to what I would interpret as the ideal rifle sling. I believe, you’ll be very happy with this rifle sling. Bolo Designs has many more items.
