M1907 Competition Leather Rifle Sling M40A1, M40A2, M24

Each sling is made by hand and entirely handstitched with a heavy UV-resistant polyester thread. The leather is sourced from the Hermann Oak Tannery of St. The frogs are new old stock from WWII – each is attached by three hand-peened brass rivets. This is sized at 52 inches (length of long strap) which is a fairly typical size. It can be shortened by the user if needed. For anything longer, please contact me. This leather is English bridle leather, and so is treated with a variety of waxes to maintain strength and add years of life to the leather. Better materials and better craftsmanship mean this is going to look great on any clone build and also perform while afield.
