Color is natural 8 oz leather for cover and 12oz for the sling. NOTE: back side of sling will be covered with leather. Sorry I don’t have pics to show. Forearm matching all included. As seen in pics these are incorporated into the stock cover and barrel. Assemble is set in a side mount arrangement allowing this to be carried across chest or across back in bandoleer style. Also comes with matching lever wrap! I can add stamped initials if wanting to at no extra charge. Sling is fully adjustable (54 long), will hold up to 13 cartridges (depending on size) of your choice or none at all if desired. Cover conforms, Fits tightly to stock as seen. Laces like a shoe. This is very comfortable and works great for carrying while on foot, horseback or atv. Must have stock sites. You will really enjoy the looks and functionality of this set up! Modeled here in photos on my own Winchester-Lee Navy 1895 rifle, Winchester used this proprietary sling pattern with their full length (musket) rifles. See examples of original fitment as depicted in the picture of a Lithuanian Imperial Russian Army soldier with Winchester 1895 Contract Rifle, as well as a page from the Navy Technical Manual for the Lee Navy Rifle Model 1895. These are hand made to specific guns and due to demand I can’t make and keep the quality I insist on any faster. 1Please give me gun info at end. Right or left hand shooter. Left handed marlin 1894 SS shown in display pic. This doesn’t mean I can only make left handed. It’s only a display model. This can only make for guns listed. Hand made leather stock cover of beautiful tuff 8 oz brown bull hide. And 8 oz ” Cream ” bull hide for guns listed. Beautiful setup with your initial added (see pic) if wanting. Nice heavy brass and sliver concho attached with lacing on back side. Which will not inhibit cheek placement. Incorporated into the butt end is a ” no drill ” tab that you can add a sling. This is a 12oz leather and accepts any 1 Sling. This is nice if your gun doesn’t have a sling lug on it. Most Rossi / Winchesters or Henry’s don’t come with tapped stocks for sling attachment. If your gun already has sling lug in stock, tell me and I’ll make it with out the tab. Color is not white, even though pics display this. It’s a cream color and hard to capture. Leather had good bull hide character. Look close at pics. All held laced with tuff deertanned cowhide or aniline. Much stronger the elk hide. You will love this! It’s one of my favorites. NOTE : Left hand shown. These are made to order for either. Display is not for sale. It was made for another customer. Authentic WWII German K98 sling. All leather and steel. Fits K98, 33/40 and G43 rifles. Very good condition, leather is strong and supple, no damage although the leather tab on buckle is unstitched. Very nice leather cross stitch pattern. Includes the keeper that’s often missing. Nice overall sling that should look great on your rifle and will last another 81+ years!
