Original Soviet Russian SKS military surplus accessory and wood set, made at the Tula Arsenal in 1952. All items are vintage and original. No firearm, receiver, or action is included. What’s included (8 pieces): 1. Original wooden rifle stock. It’s stamped “1952? ” and “?? 863″, with a small mark on the wood to the right of the number on the butt. Matching Top dust cover, stamped “1952? ” with the Tula arrow-in-star mark. Wooden handguard / gas tube cover. It’s unused and not sharpened. Original Soviet canvas sling with an OTK inspection stamp. Cleaning kit, which fits in the stock butt trap. Soviet leather-style ammunition pouch for the SKS. Condition: Good vintage condition with normal age wear. The wood is solid, and the finish is clean and attractive. The markings are legible, and the photos show the stamps. The metal has a few small spots of age. One small mark on the stock butt wood is shown in the photos. Why it’s collectible: Soviet SKS parts with matching 1952 dates and Tula marks are popular with collectors. A set like this is useful for restoration, display, or a re-build, and the bayonet is the only unused item.
