These vintage leather straps show wear including tarnishing to the metal includind buckles, greening around the buckles and metal pieces, discoloration, marks, scuffs, scratches, and other wear from use and age. Each strap is stamped “Marlin”. The first strap with the connectors on the end measures approximately 24 1/2 inches as shown without the connectors, and 7/8 of an inch wide. The second strap with the buckle at the end measures approximmately 41 1/2 inches long not including any buckles and 7/8 of an inch wide. This sportsman sling is genuine veg tanned tooling cowhide. Here in Minnesota it’s one of my best sellers, I’ve been carving leather for over 50 years, it’s hand carved, dyed, antiqued, and hand stitched. The main leather is the best leather, Hermann Oak. There is padding in the backside of the design, and I HAND STITCHED the suede leather over the padding for more comfort for shoulders. The main color of sling is a medium brown color. There’s a leather loop, and three black oxide color metal screw posts. Any hunter will love this sling. 100% made by my hands. On back of sling there is small spot on the dark brown suede where edge dye touched it and is a tad shiny, not very noticeable, just thought I’d let u know, I tried getting picture of it. About 2-3/8″ widest part, about 1-1/8″ strap. Length adjustable from both ends of clips are about 30″ to 34″long. Both clips come with it. I’ll be making more with other designs in the near future.
