Custom handmade Adjustable Traditional RIFLE SLING. Two piece sling, laces together in center to create a unique non-slip center for your hand, arm, or shoulder. Can be adjusted longer or shorter. Your swivel studs lace onto each end. I build them one at a time, one after the other. Everything is done the old fashioned way–by hands and using hand tools. I use only AMERICAN Oak Tanned Leather, and Waxed Cotton Thread. These are totally hand sewn—no machines, and are totally leather—no metal rivets or grommets. The leather is top grain 8-9 oz and is oiled, but not dyed, unless you specify BLACK, which incurs an additional charge. Please contact me for any questions. I can also do them in Black for an additional charge. I can add initials if you specify, free of charge. I also build Knife Sheaths and cartridge pouches as well as Rifle slings, and sell John Russell Skinning Knives and Dexter Butchering Knives. Specify the length between your Rifles Swivel studs and your general body size. Specify the width you prefer, 1″ wide standard, or 1.25″ wide. Specify any initials or dates you may want. If you have a Henry rifle that you cherish and don’t want to drill into the stock but need a sling, well this is for you! These are made by hand with pure Old World Craftsmanship! Made in the USA. These are made of soft saddle leather. Very nice and flexible, will give you many years of service. 1″ wide and 48″ long. Available in 1 1/4″, 1 1/2″, 2″ and 3/4″ see other auctions. Includes 2 Chicago screws and 2 leather loops. Pick your color hardware, blue, brass or chrome. If you don’t message the color hardware you want we will send brass hardware. The rivets are counter sunk and a felt pad is put over them to ensure your stock doesn’t get scratched. This is not your typical store bought sling! This is a Custom Made sling. This sling does not require sling swivels or studs for installation, but you can use a sling keeper/swivel on the barrel end if needed. The Custom Bayou Gun Sling! Original pre-WWI French Army Leather Rifle Sling for the Gras or Lebel Rifle – Very Nice Condition – RARE. This sling is used, see photo’s for condition. No rips or tears, some minor wrinkling or surface cracking in the leather. There are no markings or dates on the sling. The sling is approximately 50″ long x 1 1/8″ wide. It has a brass buckle and metal stud. NOTE: this is a collectible item, suitable for a correct historic display. It is NOT recommened for actual use. If you break it trying to use it, it is NOT returnable. This is the sling that was commonly used on the M1917 Enfield, the M1 Garand, the M1903 Springfield, the M1903A3 Springfield and the M1941 Johnson Rifles. Check out my other items.
