Original Vintage WWI ERA. MADE OF HEAVY CANVAS WITH LEATHER PANELS STRAPS, AND HANDLE. HAS A HEAVY, STURDY, LEATHER TIP “NOSE”. THE HARDWARE IS BRASS AND/OR COPPER. MEASURES; 34″ LONG WITH FLAP CLOSED, AND 8″ WIDE AT THE WIDEST. VERY OLD, ANTIQUE ITEM. A LOT OF THE STITCHING HAS COME OUT, AND SOME OF THE LEATHER PANELS ARE GONE. ALSO INCLUDED IS A LITTLE PIECE OF HARDWARE FOUND IN THE POCKET. IT IS 2 LONG AND BRASS. IT HAS SCREW THREADS AT ONE END AND AN OVERSIZED “EYE OF THE NEEDLE” ON THE OTHER SIDE. This recent estate find is a Lot 3 Original WW1 (2) 1918 one marked and one not & (1) 1907? Leather Rifle Sling that are in good overall condition for use and age wear. With Measurements of all three Rifle Slings are standard and have not been cut or altered with a 1 2/8″Width on the 1918’s & 1″Width on the 1907? – All 3 show some Use/Age wear.. Basic but still using same quality leather as my other items. Handmade leather gunstock cover (8 oz leather)and sling (12 oz leather)to match. Leather is natural oiled leather and Sling accepts 1 or bigger QuickTach swivels (not included). (leather can be different shade depending on the hide). Shells held tightly with heavy loops or no loops at all if desired. Matching lever wrap included! Please notify me and I will add a large decorative stitch in place if shell holders if desired. Com for more designs. If any modifications of the stock have been made cutting off / adding a recoil. Etc that changes the original stock there may be additional charge for making pattern.
