Vintage 50s Austrian Gendarmerie Police M1 Carbine Rifle Leather Sling STOLLA

This Vintage 50s Austrian Gendarmerie Police M1 Carbine Rifle Leather Sling is in good, clean condition overall and only shows mild evidence of age and service. The sling is well marked and was made by Stolla of Vienna , Austria sometime in the mid 50s. The sling is stamped “1 GBA 56, ” appearing to indicate Gendarmerie Procurement Office 1956. ” Several ink inscriptions are also present, one appearing to read “Jager. The brown leather is in very good, supple condition and shows no signs of damage from abuse or neglect. The brass hardware is clean and functions exactly as you would expect. This sling would make an excellent addition to any advanced M1 Carbine collection and would be difficult to upgrade.
