M-1 Garand, M1903 Springfield type Leather Rifle Sling dated 1918 marked G&K. This appears to be a WWI, World War I manufactured sling that is in nice shape. Up to you to use it to carry M-1 or’03. Major problem is that the rivets on one of the hooks needs to be repaired. I was told that there are rivets available to do this. The leather is soft, flexible and not dry rotted. The second hook looks to be firmly attached. The loop that holds the extra strap in place appears to be sound.
