For sale here is a great looking US WW2 M1903 Springfield or M1 Garand Leather Rifle Sling. The sling is made of brown leather and has darkened steel hardware. Unfortunately, the steel hardware has lost almost all of its finish, but it does have a nice mellow patina. As is common with these, there are some surface cracks at some of the prong holes. However, the sling remains supple and strong, and there aren’t very many of the cracks compared to many others that i have owned. This sling appears to be marked BOYT 43. However, this is very light and very hard to see. The eighth picture is where i have tried to photo the marking. It takes just the right light and angle to see the marking.
