Modeled here on my Winchester 1915 Russian Contract Musket, Winchester used this proprietary sling pattern with their full length (musket) rifles. As depicted in the picture of a Lithuanian Imperial Russian Army soldier with Winchester 1895 Contract Rifle, as well as a page from the Navy Technical Manual for the Lee Navy Rifle Model 1895. I have several other examples of this pattern. This sling pattern is extremely difficult to find an intact original of. Well marked by PARRIS-DUNN, it is modeled on the 1903 Springfield bolt-action rifle and approximates the size and action but does not operate. THIS IS NOT A REAL GUN! 43.75 long, 5 lbs. CONDITION: Original finish to stock and US Navy battleship gray parkerized finish. Adjustable leather sling is good. You won’t find another better example.
