Handmade Replica Winchester 1895/Lee Navy 1895 Style Sling (SMD35)

Hand built leather sling with Japanned black steel sliding keeper, steel sling button and Japanned black stacking swivel hanging hook. Modeled here in photos on my own Winchester-Lee Navy 1895 rifle, Winchester used this proprietary sling pattern with their full length (musket) rifles. See examples of original fitment as depicted in the picture of a Lithuanian Imperial Russian Army soldier with Winchester 1895 Contract Rifle, as well as a page from the Navy Technical Manual for the Lee Navy Rifle Model 1895. I have several other examples of this pattern. This sling pattern is extremely difficult to find an intact original of. Nothing else shown is included in sale.
